The school would very much welcome another assistant through the Erasmus+ programme, from September 2014, for up to a year. There would be a focus on foreign language teaching as well as the culture of the assistant’s country. An interest in sport, maths or the arts would also be welcomed.

Why not look at our figures in detail on the new Ofsted Data Dashboard?
And.... did you know our School has been part of The National Gallery ‘Take One Picture’ project this year and a film we made has been selected to be shown as part of the exhibition at The National Gallery? Click here for our entry!
|Welcome to Yardley Gobion School!|
We have developed this website to provide you with an insight into the full and happy life of our school.
At Yardley Gobion Primary School we strive for excellence in teaching and enjoyment in learning. We have excellent results at KS1 and KS2 and are well above the national average.
The school is a Church of England school catering for children aged from 4+ to 11 years.
Through a broad and balanced curriculum we provide exciting and interesting experiences for our children. We aim to lay solid foundations for secondary education and encourage and value our active partnership with parents, governors, the Diocese and the Local Education Authority.
Religious and moral education is considered to be important at Yardley Gobion School. We actively strive to instil in our children a sense of individual worth and respect for others and we value our strong links with St. Leonard’s Church. We have the support and goodwill of our parents and invite you to play an active role within the school community.
We offer small classes with enthusiastic, dedicated teachers who are supported by teaching assistants. By working together in positive partnership with parents, we can secure the best educational, moral, physical, social and spiritual environment for our children.
We look forward to getting to know you and your children and hope that you will share with us in making your children’s time at Yardley Gobion Primary School both happy and successful. Parents are always welcome in school at our assemblies, curriculum days and at the many events our very active ‘Friends of the School’ organise. We have an ‘Open Door’ policy so you may pop in to speak to your child’s teacher or to see me.
To book an appointment to see our wonderful school in action please phone 01908 542261 for an appointment and I will be delighted to show you around and answer any questions you might have.
